Luna's bathroom park- I love it because walking down the path makes me feel like I stepped through the wardrobe in C.S. Lewis' Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
One of my favorite front patios on my daily walk with Luna. The blackboard and mums remind me of school and fall...wish I were back in school...who wishes that!?!
Dame Blanche park (also the name of our favorite ice cream treat), where I (Kathy now) walk with Luna most days.
Stopping at the Press shop to buy stamps. Gaston, the white dog, is in love with Luna. He goes crazy whenever she walks by and I usually have to pick her up to save her from being slobbered to death. Gaston is very appropriately named- Remember Beauty and the Beasts' Gaston...could be the same guy (in dog form...ladies man.)
Typical Belgian street, one that we walk everyday.
On the way to our doctor's appointment on Monday our bus had to take a detour because of the mad tractor races that were happening down Teruveren avenue. Actually, it was a dairy workers strike that was parading to the EU in downtown Brussels. There were lots of angry painted cows and signs to accompany the two mile long parade of tractors. Only in Belgium...
Apparently shaking out your clothes, buck naked, is no problem here. Saw this happen two days in a row at 5:30pm...will let you know if it happens again...poor lady...she probably has no idea that anyone can see her! Or at least I hope she has no idea...maybe she knows and doesn't care- that is even scarier.
