Cloth Diapering 101

We've been on the cloth diaper adventure for almost a month now and things are going well! I hardly miss the disposables! (Every once in a while, the clean-up is a bit messy and it makes me long for throw-aways...) I thought I would share with you what a diaper change looks like...one of the not-so-messy ones...Step 1: Finish eating and (almost always) remove clothes because they are dirty from loads of spit-up.
Step 2: Examine diaper to make sure it is indeed in need of a diaper change.

Step 3: Choose fresh, cleanly laundered cloth diaper.
Step 4: Lay Isaiah down on changing mat and get ready for business. Remove diaper.
Step 5: Cover appropriate body part with pee-pee tee-pee to avoid getting sprayed with a friendly stream of pee-pee.
Step 6: Put on clean diaper and attach Velcro straps.
Step 7: Make sure diaper isn't too tight and is fitted well.
Step 8: Put soiled diaper in diaper pail.

Step:9 Re-dress and begin play!
Thanks to all who helped us get our cloth diapers- they are great!
